Big Blue
Para desbloquear esta fase tienes que jugar 150 combates en el modo de juego VS. Mode sin apagar la consola.
Abismo de Brinstar
Para desbloquear esta fase tienes que jugar 50 combates en el modo de juego VS. Mode sin apagar la consola.
Dream Land
Tienes que completar el modo Target Test con todos los personajes, tanto con los normales como con los secretos.
Destino: Partida Final
Cuando completes los 51 eventos del modo Event Match aparecerá este escenario.
Zona Extraplana
Completa el modo Classic con las vidas y el nivel de dificultad que quieras con Mr. Game & Watch.
Fourside
Para desbloquear esta fase tienes que jugar 100 combates en el modo de juego VS. Mode sin apagar la consola.
Selva Kongo
Tienes que completar el modo de juego llamado 15-Minute Melee de la opción Multi-Man Melee.
Reino Champiñón
Para conseguir este escenario debes conseguir el Trofeo de Birdo, el cual se consigue aleatoriamente.
Poké Globos
Para desbloquear esta fase tienes que jugar 200 combates en el modo de juego VS. Mode sin apagar la consola.
Isla de Yoshi
Golpea la bolsa de arena y logra que recorra 1,323 pies o más, en el Homerun Contest, utilizando a Yoshi. Este nivel es el que se utilizó en Super Smash Bros. de Nintendo 64.
3)Extras
Sound Test (Prueba de Sonido):
Completa todos los Event Match, consigue los 25 personajes y todos los escenarios/niveles que hay. Desde el Sound Test podrás escuchar TODOS los sonidos y música que se utilizan en el juego.
Modo All-Star:
Consigue a todos los personajes (son 25).
Score Display (Enseñar Puntos):
Obtén un total de 5,000 KOs (Knock Outs; veces que has eliminado a alguien). Al activar el Score Display podrás ver cuantos puntos lleva cada quien, lo cual te permite no tener que esperar hasta el final para conocerlos.
Random Stage Switch (Switch de Niveles/Escenarios al Azar):
Para obtener este switch, necesitas obtener los niveles de Big Blue, Brinstar, Fourside, y Poké Floats. Al activar el switch, automáticamente se escogerá un nivel al azar cuando juegues en Vs.
Música Alterna:
Hay ciertos niveles que tienen música alterna a la que normalmente se escucha. Para escuchar la música alterna, presiona los botones L o R cuando escojas el nivel/escenario. Los niveles que tienen música alterna son:

Llamar a Peppy, Slippy, y a Falco (o Fox):
En los niveles de Great Fox y Venom, necesitas estar utilizando a Falco o a Fox. Ahora, presiona izquierda, derecha, izquierda, derecha en el pad de control. Al hacerlo, llamarán a Peppy, Slippy, y a Falco (en caso de que estés jugando con Fox; si juegas con Falco, llamará a Fox). La mayoría de las veces atacarán a tus enemigos, pero también suelen dar consejos. Solamente lo puedes utilizar una vez por pelea.
Para iniciar la pelea como Sheik y no Zelda, deja presionado el botón A al momento que se esté cargando el escenario donde se va a efectuar la batalla.
Elige tu pose (modo VS.):
Inmediatamente cuando se acabe la batalla, presiona uno de los siguientes botones: A, B, X, Y. En la pantalla en la que se muestran los resultados estarás efectuando la pose correspondiente al botón que presionaste (Cuando no presionas nada, la pose que tienes es escogida al azar).
Bonus
Los Bonus te son otorgados al terminar una pelea, o completar un escenario. Cada Bonus tiene un equivalente en puntos, los cuales son sumados para obtener tu puntuación final.
Cada vez que obtienes un Bonus, éste es guardado en la memoria, y luego lo puedes consultar desde el menú, para saber a que se refiere el Bonus, y cuantos puntos recibes al ser otorgado dicho Bonus.
